Meet the Founder
CEO/Founder
Cynthia Jones
Cynthia Jones is the founder of Upside Transitional Living, and she has a master’s degree in counseling and has been working in the mental health field providing individual and group counseling for over 10 years. She has a passion for helping people identify their purpose and reach their goals. Upside Transitional Living is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, supportive, and empowering transitional housing for individuals who are transitioning out of difficult circumstances, such as homelessness, incarceration, or addiction. Founded in 2023, Upside Transitional Living has been providing high-quality transitional housing and support services to residents in Los Angeles and beyond.
Our team of experienced professionals includes case managers, therapists, social workers, and community organizers, all of whom are committed to helping our residents achieve their full potential. We work collaboratively with local partners and stakeholders to promote social and economic justice, and to advocate for the rights and dignity of our residents.
At Upside Transitional Living, we believe that every person has inherent worth and value, and we are committed to helping our residents realize their potential. Our programs are designed to address the unique needs of each individual, with a focus on building life skills, developing healthy relationships, and accessing community resources.
